The Children’s Ministry of Bethel Baptist Church seeks to build a strong foundation in the lives of our children. Our vision is “to see young people trained to know God’s presence in their lives, experience His power operating through their lives and to know His purpose for their lives.”
The Children’s Ministry provides Bible Study for our 3 year olds to 6th grade, Wednesday night TeamKID for our 3 - 5 year olds and Bible Skills, Drills & Thrills for the 1st - 6th graders. We hold an exciting Vacation Bible School for our preschoolers and Day Camp for the 1st through 6th grades every summer. During the school year, we have choir on Sunday evenings for the children. We offer weekly summer activities, such as field trips, 4-H Day trip and fun activities that include the parents. We also attend a summer camp in June at Shocco Springs where we meet other Christian kids from the area and grow in the Lord. We also hold an awesome Kid’s Crusade in November for all children 5 year olds through 6th grade.
Our preschool and 1st through 6th grades have their very own church services. Power-packed praise and worship, hand puppets, human puppets, object lessons, fun filled games and teaching are all integrated in this dynamic time. They meet during the adult praise & worship services every Sunday with the exception of the fourth Sunday of each month in which the children worship with their families.
